Well just for the heck of it I'd also have a look at the plugin properties on the BIAS plug under the vst2 button and see what boxes are/aren't checked. BIAS AMP 2 represents a revolution in virtual amplifier design, providing the tools to take your ultimate guitar tone with you anywhere, from the studio to the stage and back again. You can use Amp Match to clone the tone of real hardware or a guitar track, or connect to the ToneCloud to gain access to thousands of custom amps.

If after all of this and it's still not working. BIAS AMP 2 PRO is the ultimate virtual amp designer, authentically recreating the tone and feel of real tube amplifiers, while allowing you to mix and match components to create your ideal amp. My custom-saved bank in Bias Pro FX has disappeared 3) when I start Amp 2, the cursor sits and spins (I have let it go up to 30 minutes to try to get it to work) and I have to force quit my DAW 4) the sound I get from a designed amp in Amp 2 does NOT sound the same when it is imported into Bias FX Pro 5) the sounds in Bias FX Pro sound flat and lifeless. But hopefully you don't have some messed up unique situation like that and maybe you have just a bad install. I personally have a situation like that with BIAS FX 1 and 2, where it will delete an audio take I just recorded even after I watched the waveform get drawn, when I stop recording the waveform will just vanish, and and not everybody has this problem though a few others have reported it and the Cakewalk staff have confirmed it, but not everyone can replicate it. A less likely problem is that you have some unique bug w/ BIAS and how it's interacting in your particular situation. In my experience they respond in a day or two. And try emailing Positive Grid and tell them what's happening. If BIAS is still behaving that way then that would at least suggest it's the plugin for sure and not a corrupt session so I'd try reinstalling BIAS at that point. If the test sim is working correctly then delete or disable it and load BIAS and verify its output. You may even test a soft synth to further verify proper stereo output functionality in this session.

Then, before loading up BIAS, load up another amp sim - any sim that you can use to verify a mono/stereo output from, a free sim or demo and verify that that sim is outputting in both mono and stereo. BIAS AMP 2 is the ultimate virtual amp designer, authentically recreating the tone and feel of real tube amplifiers, while allowing you to mix and match. Load up a clean new session and a single track for testing purposes in case something is corrupt in that session (it happens). I have no idea what's going on but here's what I'd do: In CbB, when I load BIAS into a track I get the dual output meters in BIAS no matter if it's a single or dual amp rig or wether I have the input on the track assigned to mono or stereo - never just that single meter on BIAS as shown in your photo. I never use Amplitubes amps anymore, just their FX sometimes.I tried last night to replicate your problem and was unable to.

The Amp sims in Bias Desktop Pro are really good though (mainly for heavy rock etc) and IMHO run rings around any amps in Amplitube. , or again I could use my amplitube FX inside of patchwork - where I have IKM footswitches and a midi wah pedal. I can still add any of my existing FX which already own into another Patchwork slot, and even turn them on and off via midi control if needed (via patchwork) I can open a standalone VST version of Bluecat Patchwork, with Bias Desktop pro opened in one of Bluecat Patchwork slots (for say - Live use / jamming etc) The No.1 Website for Pro Audio The No. I can use FX plugins that I already own, and I can even use Amplitube 3's plugins if I need to "without" forking out more money for Bias FX not registered yet join now login: join with facebook. With BIAS Amp 2, Positive Grid are looking to build on that success and take amp modelling technology to a different level. The first edition of BIAS Amp along with BIAS FX have been hugely popular products. If I'm using my Bias Desktop Pro (ie the amps) within Pro Tools, Positive Grid are one of the big boys of guitar plugins. Personally, I cant even see the point in even checking out Bias FX desktop - let alone spend any money on it.

, but that excitement instantly turned to disappointment upon realizing Bias FX desktop was another completely separate (and expensive) program to Bias Desktop Pro, which Bias FX also included many Amp sims of which I already own in Bias Desktop Pro I was a bit excited to begin with, as I mistakenly thought my (expensive) Bias Desktop Pro was getting FX added to it, as it didnt come with any at all,
